My Favorite Consignments + Rules of Shopping Kids Consignment
Now that you’ve enjoyed Snowpocolypse 2021, it’s time to mentally prep for spring by getting your closet and your children’s closets ready.
One of my favorite ways to shop for new seasons is to attend consignment pop-up shops. There are a plethora of consignment options out there, but today I’m going to share four of my favorites.
If you haven’t read my closest clean out blogs, now’s a good time to do so and put them into action!
• Closet Clean Up and Clean Out (for kids closets!)
Well Dressed Nashville Closet Sale
Okay, y’all… Well Dressed Nashville is by far my #1 place to shop preloved (or sometimes new with tags) styles for LADIES.
Bonnie Kirby started this upscale closet sale about a year ago and it just keeps getting better and better! It’s the best place to get high-end pieces for your closet at the fraction of the price- out of hand selected closets and boutiques. It’s a total win-win. Plus, even if you aren’t local the sales are strictly online so you can shop from the comport of your couch!
With over 500 name-brand items for sale (think Anthropologie, Free People, Athleta, Sail to Sable, etc.), Well Dressed Nashville’s sales are ones you don’t want to miss! The sale happening at the end of March will be the closets of Natasha Stoneking of @NashvilleTash and Brooke Webb of @KBStyled. Then in May there is another sale with top pieces from other bloggers/influencers, top country music wives, top women in business, plus YOURS TRULY!
Annddd… if you want to shop early, you can snag your VIP ticket on Eventbrite once sales go live. The VIP ticket holders are in the first group of shoppers every sale! Be sure to tune into my insta on FRIDAY 2/26 for a fun giveaway I have planned with Bonnie for an upcoming sale!
BUT WAIT… There is a closeout high-end boutique sale happening NOW and you can use code MIXANDMATCH30 for an extra 30% off your entire purchase, but HURRY… sale ends 7pm CST on Tuesday 2/23! Shop with Well Dressed Nashville online right now!!

Rules for Shopping Kids Consignment
I’ll be sharing my top three consignment pop-up for kids over the next few days over on insta with giveaways for each one, but in the meantime here are five rules you need to before ever stepping foot into a store to shop!
Shop with a list. Go into each place knowing what your child needs. If you haven’t assessed their wardrobe you will buy more than you need, the wrong items, and forget the ones you need.
Take two items that fit with you. Sure you know your child’s size BUT not all brands run the same. By having one shirt and one pair of pants that fit, you’ll be able to compare items that say they are your child’s size but look too big or too small.I always like to shop one size up, too!
Set your budget. Knowing what items your child needs will help you set a realistic budget. I am guilty of buying things “because they are a steal” and when I go to check out I’m shocked what it all rings up to equal. Sure, it’s all fabulous deals, but you still need to set a budget and stick to it.
Allow a little wiggle room. Speaking of lists and budgets, I still think it’s important to allow yourself to grab a few things that are outside your needs lists. These sales are so, so good that you will find things you are wanting badly but aren’t on your list. Allow yourself 1-2 extra things as a reward for being so organized!
BYOB (Bring Your Own Bags). Make sure to bring bags with you to cram all your finds into so that you have free hands to work those racks full of goodness!
Here’s a sneak peek of my top 3 fave consignments that’ll be hosting giveaways for over on Instagram this week!

Rhea Lana’s Franklin: Presale Shopping Day March 6th (must have ticket) | Public Shopping Dates March 7th – 13th
When I sat down with Jo Anna to talk abut her sale, I loved hearing what lead to her passion for starting her own franchise of Rhea Lana’s Children’s Consignment Event.
I began shopping with Rhea Lana’s when I was pregnant with my son, eight years ago. Rhea Lana’s focuses on creating a boutique shopping environment with upscale resale items, and I was instantly hooked! I loved that I could clothes my children with name brand, quality and gently used items for a fraction of the cost and make it easier to splurge on all the things I needed AND wanted for them. Shopping at Rhea Lana’s honestly doesn’t feel like consignment at all! Once I became a consignor, I loved the simple process and the fact that I was giving other local moms a chance to clothe their children and stretch their budgets – just as I had done. My husband’s music career moved us to the Nashville area, and I really felt there was a need to bring the Rhea Lana’s experience here with us
You can shop Rhea Lana’s of Franklin starting on March 6th for consignors (they still have some spots left if you have things to get rid of!) or with a ticket. You can purchase tickets now to shop that morning OR be sure and follow Rhea Lana Franklin on instagram or facebook and set your alarm to look for something fun on Tuesday, March 2! wink wink… Otherwise, the sale starts March 7th.
