Ready or not Ladies ... Swim Season is Upon Us - Catherine Martin's Mix and Match Madness

I know I am not alone! I can come up with a long list of “things’ that I wish were different about my body. Reality: I should exercise (for many reasons), but at this stage of my life I haven’t made it a priority. Something I am working on, but that’s for a different day- ha. The past few summers I have kept my coverup on most of the time when poolside, beachside, or on the lake. I’d be lying if I didn’t admit I’ve found some super cute coverups and I may or may not have told James for the last several summers that “my bathing suits aren’t allowed to get wet.” Yup, true story.

I still don’t want my hair to get wet every time we are near water, but I am ready to embrace this mom bod and actually let the cute suits I invest in be seen! I have 2 tween girls & they are watching me – my every move. I want them to know that their body is just perfect. It’s the way God made it and they are perfectly and wonderfully made by Him. Sure, we want to make healthy choices, but I want them to be comfortable in their own skin and confident too. It’s not easy, but I am ready to model that for them this summer. I am ready to CANNON BALL into that deep end!
