When you join us to try out being a trunk keeper for May and June, all it takes is $195 to get your business up and running. You will recieve a sampling of our May and June collection at cost. Upon signing your contract, a welcome kit will be shipped asap that includes 6 pieces of MJ for you to start showing friends! You have the option to customize your trunk and add additional pieces for an additional cost.

Well that is truly up to you! You will earn 20% on anything you sell in a given month and when you hit $2500, this is your bonus level earning you an extra 5%. So, by hitting $2500 each month, you maximize your commission.

In addition, as a new trunk keeper you are eligible for Jump Start bonuses your 1st 3 months as a trunk keeper (more on that next)

– JumpStart

When you start, you have a 3-month JumpStart period where you have the chance to earn bonus cash! Remember that $2500 level…well hit that in month 1 of JumpStart and we will give you a $200 BONUS!

In month 2, hit $2500 and earn $200 and in month 3 hit $2500 and earn another $200 cash! This is structured so that you can earn bonuses on top of your commission so that you can quickly pay off your investment and start making money.

Let me give you an example of what earning JumpStart Cash on top of your commission looks like!

Month 1: Sell $2500 X 25% commission =$625.00

Sell $2500 in month 1 $200.00 Cash bonus!
$825.00 paycheck

*Payday is the 5th of every month

– Sample Liquidation

You can also liquidate your samples at the end of the season (MJ will give you a date this sale can begin). Marking your samples down to 50% off will allow you to re-coup your investment PLUS make money. When you do this successfully, you are able to re-invest this money into your next season’s trunk.

– Sharing the MJ opportunity with others

We know that it is more fun when you invite a friend or two to join you, so we invite you to start growing your team the minute you become a trunk keeper. We find that the productivity of trunk keepers goes up as you work together to grow the brand, brainstorm best business practices, AND cheer each other on of course! And when you start to build a team, the opportunities are unlimited. Ask me about our entire career path to see the big picture! You do earn commission off of your team so this is yet another way to earn income with MJ. With approx. 2000 Trunk Keepers nationwide, we are just getting started! Now is a great time to not only join but to GROW WITH US!

Our Spring/Summer season offers at least 5 releases (January-June) and our Fall/Winter collection also offers at least 5 collecitons . We typically have an amazing promo each month and you will get this in your trunk as well. We typically have little surprise additions to the collection each month (example home items) and you will have the opportunity to add those to your rack at a discount if you choose. As a reminder, your investment covers clothing for your 1st month (the month of your official start date) plus all remaining releases for the season).

Should you decide to become a Good Hart Trunk Keeper, you will recieve clothes 4 months (August-November) to share.

SHOW UP AND SHOW OFF!

You must SHOW UP… for example, don’t just post on social around a launch, don’t only check in with your friends when you are asking them to buy, etc. This ia relatioship business. Your customers and potential customers want to do life with you.
Once you SHOW UP… it’s time to SHOW OFF- wear the clothes in your own life, share them on social meida, ask a freind to “model” for you! Once you get the clothes in front of people, they will naturally fall in love!

You will be most successful by staying focused on booking trunk shows. In-home shows are the foundation of our business but in today’s busy world, we also have to accommodate customers who prefer to shop online or host online shows. Most TK’s find a balance of working their business various ways from in-home shows, online shows, drop and shop appointments, and personal shopping appointments. The key is that you strive to build relationships and provide great customer service. Every TK’s business looks different and that is the beauty of it. You can work this business while not missing out on important family obligations.

TIP: Think outside of the box when listing your Janes on your application. It’s natural to think of people who currently buy but these ladies most likely already have a TK. We are always looking to grow the MJ brand in new circles so when we enroll in TKs, we want to make sure we are focused on growth and not trading business. Remember EVERY lady you know is a potential MJ customer!

We call our show hostesses our Janes. Our business doesn’t survive with you. I appreciate your willingness to share your own love of Matilda Jane with your friends near and far! We are going to have so much fun and you are going to LOVE your discounts!

Both Matilda Jane Clothing & Good Hart offer fabulous perks for our Janes (aka hostesses). You earn free and discounted pieces from the line and often free promo items based on the sales of your show. Hosting a show is simple and easy- you can host in your home, in my home, online, have me give you a traveling trunk, or I can even set up the trunk in your place of business. You invite your friends and the rest is up to ME!
