Here’s the thing about Halloween at The Martin Household… We LOVE it.

(Annnddd… maybe, just maybe, we love Halloween almost as much as we love The Vols. Almost.)

JT and I started dating in college and one of our favorite date parties were those that involved a theme. Why? Because we were able to get creative and think of costume ideas for the themed events on our campus.

Naturally, when we had Kaiser we knew family Halloween costumes were going to be a for sure thing.

And as our family has grown, our kiddos know look forward to family Halloween costumes as well. (Proud Momma moment, by the way. I love that my kids look forward to doing something unique every year with their parents.)

But… guess what?

Even though our love for Halloween hasn’t faded, we haven’t a clue what we are going to be this year. With all the crazy that 2020 has brought us, our family hasn’t had the headspace to focus on a costume idea. We are just two weeks away and I’m not joking when I tell you we don’t have a clue what we are dressing up as this year.

Lemme tell ya, Momma, it’s a really dangerous time for me to go into Pottery Barn, Home Goods or Target because there is no telling how much I’ll spend on all things fall. I will tell you that as much as I love Halloween, when it comes to my home decor, I go with more of a fall theme so I can get several months use out of it.

That’s why I’m sharing with you some of my favorite fall decor items.
