BTS OUTFIT IDEAS

Yes, like it or not ladies, school is coming and in our house it is coming FAST. I have a few outfit ideas to share with all you color loving ladies. Is that you? Don’t worry, I’ll share some neutral ideas next week too.

As a past teacher myself, I know I always wanted to look and feel put together but with the flexibility to really get down on the floor with my students. These outfits were first created with you teachers in mind, but if I am being honest- each look I put together had me thinking “this could be great for 1st day of school drop off” or “oh, I am going to wear this to lower school parents night” etc. So, whether you are a teacher in the classroom or a mom supporting that teacher, these looks are for you!

Pink Top / Denim Skirt / Sneakers / earrings & arm candy (use code MIXANDMATCH for 10% off)
Navy top / skirt (sold out in green but cute in navy too) / sneakers / earrings

I love skirts because of their versatility. You can mix and match different tops, accessories, and shoes for totally different looks with the same basic bottom. Your price per wear on these pieces will be minimal as you will wear on repeat!

What’s easier than a simple (or not so simple) dress you can throw on, grab your shoes, and head out the door. I think dresses allow for mindless mornings. Don’t you agree? Both of these sillouttes are perfect for looking nice but being able to move freely. I suggest sizing down if between sizes in both of these particular dresses.

You just can’t go wrong with a great fitting black denim and a statement top, can you?

Yall, whatever you do, don’t get stuck in a rut thinking you are required to wear a theme sweater just because you are a teacher (although I do love some theme accessories). AND… all you mommas out there wondering why you need to get out of your work out wear every now and then- trust me. You will feel so good!

NO matter what role you play in a child’s life or what your fashion style is, from the bottom of my heart, I want to say THANK YOU. Thank you for being present and intentional in children’s lives. I think being a child today is so incredibly hard and I know at least 1 child is blessed by having YOU in his/her corner.
